There is a proverb, "All it takes is BELIEVE". If you will believe something strongly it will happen no matter what's the odd against you. We had to met because of our passion. All three of us ANGELA, DIPU & SAYED had this thirst to see the unseen. Thus we met and decided that someday we will tour around the globe. But to that tremendous job we though we should cross-check our qualifications for the eligibility. That's how we thought to start a tour of CYCLING to ALL 64 DISTRICTS.
As we had no previous experiences of cycling everyone considered our plan as funny things. More we were serious more they started to laugh. None came to help us at our planning. So, we started to plan a route-map and save money to meet the expenses on the road. When Mr. Masum of DHAKA CYCLING CLUB heard that we have fixed the date to start our tour and managed everything by ourselves, he proposed us to be member of his club and also to declare this tour as the 3RD BANGLADESH TOUR of his club. Previously this club had performed BANGLADESH TOUR twice. At both event Mr. Masum participated. Due to some various reasons they completed touring 57 districts at year 1995 on their first tour and only 27 districts on their second attempt. We agreed to his proposal and at 7th September of year 2005, we arrange for official inauguration of the 3RD BANGLADESH TOUR of Dhaka Cycling Club.
At inauguration ceremony we attend at the Outer Stadium of Dhaka on 7th September. The President of Dhaka Cycling Club Ms. ZOBERA RAHMAN LINU and the General Secretary of the club Mr. AZHARUL ISLAM MASUM was present there with a huge numbers of well-wishers. At late evening Ms. Linu cut the RED RIBBON to announce our opening of the tour officially. After a small round up we came back there at that spot to have our last chatting with them as we intend to start the cycling at next morning. After spending a good amount of time we went to our house to start a new day. The day, when four of us will see our motherland without burning a single fuel except our own physical energy.
On 8th September we started our tour from the ZERO POINT of Dhaka, The CAPITAL CITY of BANGLADESH. We had planned to visit all the districts one after another. The Districts on our route map was as below.....
