The place where I took the picture at border of Mymensingha-Sherpur was about 25 KM away from the Sherpur Zero Point. I took less than three hours to reach the Zero Point of Sherpur District. Before reachiong there I stopped and took picture at front of the office of "Bangladesh Open University". Then I took photo and tea at the zero point. Getting some idea about the residence of DC i cycle toward there. The guards and the officials present there receive me cordially. They asked me to come back after few hours as DC was out at some duty. I did so and cycled around the town of Sherpur. I went to the press club of Sherpur but there it was locked and someone standing there told me that they will come here not before sunset. Then I took a picture of my cycle at the memorial for fighters of 1971. I had nothing to do than roaming. On the way at a place called "Chakpathok" I met a boy named JONY. He introduced himself as a local resident and owner of a VCD Center. He was standing in front of his shop. Upon my introduction he asked me to pass sometime with him if I don't have any problem. We chat about lots of things. I find him a very happy boy who loves his family. He invite me to his house right then. I told him that I was not sure about my schedule of that day. So, he invite me again for the breakfast at next morning. I accept it and before leaving took a photo of him. I went to the residence of DC and his official told me to wait as he was sleeping. So, I sat there and within an hour DC came to his office and his staffs sends me to meet him first. They also told him that I had waited for a long time. He talked with me about various things of the tour. Later he told me that he can't accommodate me in circuit house. Instead he wants me to pass the night at the rest house of "DISTRICT COUNCIL" which was beside the police station of the town. I had no problem to stay anywhere so I went there with the letter of him. I went there and meet the caretaker who was informed about me by phone. He escort me to a room and asked some times to clean the room. I left the luggages at the room and went outside to have supper. Before 11 o'clock I came back to the rest house and slept after recording the diary.

I woke up at 7 o'clock and taking some pictures, left the rest house before 8 o'clock. Went straight to the house of Jony. They also woke up just a little earlier. I enter inside and start chatting with him while his family members were preparing the breakfast. I took some photos of the stoves which they were using to cook. Later finishing the breakfast with Jony I went to his shop. We took tea and some photos over there. Taking some guidance about the roads I left him for the next district. The distance between the zero points of Sherpur and Jamalpur was less than 20 KM. Very soon I came to point from where one road went to Jamalpur and other to Gazni which was 34 KM away (from there). I took a pic and take the left turn for Jamalpur district. The boundary between these two districts was the "River Brahmaputra". When I was only 4 KM away from it the road starts to be very bad. Sometime there was just some brick-laid road and at some places there was only soil, no brick at all. The signboard was telling me that it is the connecting road to the Brahmaputra Bridge but as soon I saw the bridge I find it without any approach road. So everyone was crossing the river by ferry. Well, it was a very thin line of water, maybe due to the dry season. I took a few pictures and video as soon I saw a farmer walking to cross the river with his cows and calves. Then I wait for the ferry to come at this side to land at Jamalpur District.
