After taking picture at the entrance of Debiganj Upazila I stopped at a mosque. I finished my Asor prayer and a lot of due prayers till Magrib. After the prayer of Magrib I started with the lights of Moon. It was then 6:45 PM and within 15 minutes I reached the center of Debiganj. From there I went towards Boda and reached there at 8:15 PM. From here I got the highway as I was using some rural road till then. Lighted by moon I keep on cycling so that I can reach Panchagarh by tonight. I stopped at a canteen of BDR on the highway for water and some guidance about the road. There was no milestone I had seen on the highway (Or maybe i had overlooked them). But the BDR staffs told me that I am only 2 KM away from the town and they told me how can I reach the circuit house fast. Before reaching there I got phone from Tariq of Nilphamari and Masum Bhai of Dhaka. I had no problem to reach circuit house and find NDC with his staffs there. The NDC was feeling hesitate as he had only one room without fewer facility. He asked me why I did not informed him earlier so that he can arrange something special for me. He told me that he was here due to a program took place at circuit house. He ordered the staffs to provide supper for me and prepare the room by the time I will finish my supper. He asked me to meet him at morning at DC office. I did not get any problem at the room. So, after recording the diary I slept soon. At morning I left the circuit house before 9 o'clock by taking a pic. Went to the DC office directly but had to wait there for some times. Everyone was too much busy as the Secretary of Jute related ministry is coming to this district today. The post of DC and ADC (General) was runned by a single person in this district. After some time I met him. He asked his CA Mr. Mamun to complete the work and meet him again. Mamun Bhai took me to the residence of DC by his motorbike. Over there he composed the letter and print it in he pad from house. Then we came back to the office. The DC signed it and gave it to me. While leaving the office I met the young and well-mannered NDC of this district. He asked me if I am having any problem or not. Then I roam for sometime at the town. I went to the circuit house to take a photo and the stadium too. I also tried to contact Mr. Shahidul Islam, the district representative of Prothom Alo. But he was too busy and told me that he was unable to give me anytime. So, I went to the press club but knew that it will not open before sunset. I was thinking to leave Panchagarh on that very day. Yet I saw a signboard on way "Panchagarh Reporters welfare Society". I went to that office and met a person who was a district representative of two newspaper and "Daily Amar Desh". Talking to him I left him and took some pictures at the bridge before Town. At 2 o'clock I left the Panchagarh Town. Took lunch on the way. Before reaching Boda Upazila I stopped at a BRAC office to have some water and taking a pic there. They agreed and talked a lot with me. I met the incharge of that office. I also took photo with him and receive phone from the three Pedestrian Tourists of Bangladesh. I took a lot of information from him and went to the Boda Upazila. It was more than 5:30 and I thought I would pass my night at Boda. I looked for the UNO of Boda Upazila Mr. Dipok Ronzon Adhikary. He was at his house and first he did not let me enter at his house. Later when I requested again he came by and behaved rudely with me. He used some bad slang language towards me even after watching the papers from DC. I phoned the NDC of Panchagarh and told him about the incidents. I was feeling very angry and thought that I would cycle till Thakurgaon. But at that moment few young men who eves dropped on my phone conversation came and talk to me. They asked me to stay at Boda at least for one night. They were saying that the UNO of Boda might be a ill-mannered person but not the people of Boda. That's why they want me to stay there for a night. So, I agreed with them to stay at Boda for that night. Later the caretaker of Dakbunglow came and listened about me. He offered me to stay at Dakbunglow as he was sure that I am a good person. Remarkably I saw that all of them are fade up about this UNO. Then I met a lots of person at the bazar of Boda Upazila. Later I met a man at the "Nipa Jewellery". Also I met someone else at a shop called "Patowary Paduka Bitan". The time was running fast and finished my supper at a restaurant of the bazar. The host of my supper was Mr. Rahmot. He was a staff of the Upazila Health Complex. Later I met a lot more boys of the upazila. Thus it become 11:30 PM and I decide to pass my night at Upazila Health Complex under the co-operation of Rahmot Bhai. Late at night I got a call from Dhaka that my dearest relative was at hospital. I got this news at 2 o'clock of night and asked Rahmot Bhai to keep my cycle for few days. I asked him what is the earliest bus service goes to Dhaka from that area. He told me to wait till the sky is clear. So, I asked him to take a chance by standing in the highway. I was thinking to stop any trucks and offer them to carry me as far they goes. After waiting for a long time I understood that there is no chance. So, later we went to his place and very early in the morning we came back to the stand. We came before the counter was opened. Soon a counter open and I bought the first ticket of their first bus going to Dhaka from Panchagarh. Then we enter at a restaurant to eat something. Later when other counter opened I find that they have some earlier bus-service. So, I changed the previous ticket to get a new one. When the bus arrived I left him standing along and ride on the bus. Reaching Dhaka I find that the patient was hospitalized and after a succesfull surgery operated by doctors I left Dhaka for Panchagarh. Reaching Panchagarh I start searching for Rahmot Bhai and Razib. While I was searching them I find that the ceremony of "Liberation Day" was organized at a field. There I saw the worst UNO I had ever experienced. So, I took a pic of that from staying far. He will be always on my mind due to his ugly behaviour. Then I find Rahmot Bhai and roam at various places of Upazila. Soon everyone was coming to us knowing that I am here. Everyone of them were asking about the health of my relative. Then at 5:20 PM I had left that area for Thakurgaon. Before leaving them I took picture with both Razib and Rahmot. Then we went to the bridge at the bus stand over Pathrai River. There I took pics crossing the bridge. After that ride on my bike for Thakurgaon. |
