The road to Norail from Gopalganj was not very good in condition but suitable for us. There was not enough buses or other vehicles on the road. We had to face ferry at least twice or maybe more. We reached at Norail town late night. When we crossed the ferry over Chitra river the residence was just in front of way at right side. I entered inside his residence and some staffs of him. After checking our papers they told us to meet ADC (Education) as Deputy Commissioner was sleeping. It was very nearer from that house. I asked Angela & Dilip to find the house of our Gopalganj's relative for a back-up accommodation. Then I went to ADC's residence and asked Rana to wait at the gate. He checked our paper and asked a few things. He tried to contact the NDC by phone but failed. Later he phoned to local Sports Authority and two men appeared there very soon by rickshaw. By this time Dilip informed me that it is only possible for that family to accommodate one person and Angela agreed to stay there. So, I told him to come over quickly. The men's from the local sports authority asked us to finish our supper while they will decide about our accommodation. I went downstair and met Dilip with Rana. We took our supper in a restaurant nearby and came back soon. He advised us to start for Jessore at morning and assured us that he will send the certificate by post. Those two men took us to the District Stadium and requests us to spend the night at the athlets room at 2nd floor of the stadium which was still under-construction. We passed the night. At morning we woke up early and took some pictures at Stadium. I asked Dilip to bring back Angela and waited in a restaurant with Rana. We had our breakfast after they arrived and start paddling for Jessore. It was a less crowded road and we don't know when we crossed the border of NORAIL-JESSORE. |
