After entering at Begumganj we cycled for nearly an hour to reach the Upazila center. We took a late lunch there at restaurant on right side and took drinks and sweet from the restaurant at left side. We assumed that we will be reaching at DC office of Noakhali District in less than an hour. But as we were not cycling faster suddenly we understood that we not progressing in a good speed. So, I asked my partners to cycle a bit faster. On our way we saw the factory of "URO COLA". But we had no time to waste as we wanted to meet the DC in his office by office hour. We often asked people if we were going exactly to the Noakhali Sadar. They replied positively and said we are going to "MAIZDI" correctly. More I asked them about the Noakhali Sadar, more they assured me about the Maizdi. At a stage I becaome tired about their behaviour but continued cycling. Soon I started to ask them about the DC office of Noakhali and this time they were very helpful and describe me the location. On our way we saw a hospital named Maizdi Hospital (private) with a nice billboard. We took a pic under it and cycle again towards DC office. Arriving there I told my team to wait at the park oppsite to the DC office. They waited there while I went to meet NDC. I told him everything and he asked me to wait a bit as DC was not at his office. I came downstair and meet my team they told me they have taken lots of pictures of the park and they had a good chatting with the polices on duty. Suddenly Angela's mother phoned her. She talked and Angela handed me the phone. She asked me to send Angela back to Dhaka as from tomorrow the Ramadan will begin and they consider it unpolite if Angela will cycle in Ramadan. Angela was sad to hear it and not ready to quit the tour. I got the same opinion from Dilip & Rana. They tell me that they were very excited to be in Coxbazar after Chittagong. They will not return without watching "The Bay of Bengal". So I phoned to Masum Bhai at Dhaka. I explained him the situation and asked for some advise. He told me to take them to Coxbazar Beach by bus. Then after showing them the beach I should send them directly to Dhaka and return to Noakhali by bus. After reaching Noakhali I will phone him and start cycling to continue the tour. I told my team about the plan of Masum Bhai and they agreed. So we ride to Companyganj to get the bus of Coxbazar. From Companyganj we bought the tickets and phone to Dhaka describing our plan. Around eight o'clock our bus starts for the Coxbazar. THE STORY OF VISITING COXBAZAR |
