After 3 o'clock I enter the Netrokona district by Mohanganj Upazila of it. The road was still not so good but I kept cycling. I was hoping that I could reach the main town of this district by somehow. Thus, I reached at Barhatta after 6 o'clock. After that it was too tough for me in that dark risky road to cycle for Netrokona. Around 9 o'clock I reached at the circuit house of Netrokona Sadar. It took me a lot of time to find the circuit house of Netrokona. Over there I meet the staffs but they were not helping at all. At first they seems to consider me as a liar. Later when I told them about some staffs (Who were friend of Sunamganj DC's staff) of their own district they phoned to him. I talked to that person by phone, told him about his friends. He requested the staffs to contact the NDC. But they asked me to wait for some time as there was chances that NDC might arrive at circuit house. I told them that I am coming within few minutes as I was hungry. I went outside, enter a restaurant and took some food. After returning from the restaurant I asked them if the NDC arrived or not. They told me that NDC has not arrived yet and they are going to wait for minutes more. Later when I told the that already it is too late and they must contact NDC now. They phoned to him. He said he can't come right now and when my subject came I did not find any co-operation at the voice of those staffs. Later they left the phone and said that NDC is unable to assist me at this hour. So, I left the circuit house and went towards the area of Rail Station. After searching for a lot I got a place called "CHANDAN Guest House (Residential)". There on the reception I met another tourist from Dhaka. Getting the room I went there. Place my luggage at a table locked the door and slept as soon as I fell. I woke up earlier and find that my whole body is having pain. I had never felt like this in my tour. I understood how tired I was last night as I even had no energy to remove my dress or shoes after entering the room. I slept all night wearing them. Now I took them off and and went for a shower. I was fresh but still I had the pain at various joints of the body. I understood that it might trouble me sometime more. I dressed up and came downstair (Well my room at this hotel was not at ground floor). Taking a pic I left the hotel at 7:45 AM. I enter at a restaurant to have breakfast. Then I went to the DC office but staffs did not start to come as it was not even 9 o'clock. I went to a cycle technicians shops beside the boundary wall of DC office. It had some problem and I asked the technician to clean and fix it totally parts by parts. They asked me about myself and upon telling they were very happy to fix my cycle. I was there for half an hour. Each time someone was coming at their shop they introduced me with them. The time was passing very nicely. After 9 o'clock I went inside the DC office without my cycle. I met NDC and he behaved very nice with me though he was the one who did not co-operate with me last night. He helped me to get the paper of DC when he heard that I will not disturb him after getting that letter. Then I left their office and receive my cycle from them. It got a very good service but they denied to take any money. I took pic with them and start cycling for the next district. After few minutes I saw a milestone marking that the Mymensingha, which is my next district is only 38 KM away. I took a pic with the milestone by help of a Rickshawala and continue cycling. About 11:40 AM I came to the end of Netrokona District. I placed my cycle at the boundary post of the district and took a pic. |
