Entering the boundary of Natore District at 10:10 PM I reached at the circuit house at 11:10 PM. The staffs over there talked with their NDC and arrange the room for me. Then I enter at the room called "Chapa" and soak my clotes at toilet to wash. Then I record the diary and send messages to Dhaka. When I was waiting for the clothes to get wet a bit more suddenly I woke up and understood I was sleeping. The time was 1:30 AM then. I went to wash my clothes and went to bed at 2:30 AM. I woke up at morning and first thing came in my mind is I have finished touring the whole country. I have become a few of them who went to all the part of their own country. I was feeling great. My heart was full with happiness. I am just unable to dexcribe my mental or emotional status in words. After taking enough time to prepare myself I went downstair to take some pics. Then I went to the "Zero Point" of Natore and took pic again. From there I went to the DC office and find NDC was busy at the room of DC. So, I wait there and talked with other staffs of the office. There I met a staff very interested to know about me. He was a driver of ADC (Education). He asked me to have a cup of tea at their canteen before NDC return. We went there and I took my breakfast too. After chatting for a long time with him I met NDC. He asked me to go to the CA of DC directly. I went there but the CA told me that there is an emergency meeting of DC with all his higher staffs and the UNO will take place soon. After that meeting he will let me enter the room of DC. I asked him that I will need only 5 minutes or so. I will just say hallo to him and if he will agree to give me that letter I will not need to disturb him anymore. The CA agreed and took me to his room. I present him (Mohammed Illias Hossain) the letter of Rajshahi DC and said I need a letter like that except a few changes in the text. Rajshahi was my 63rd district but now the text should be 64th. He looked at me for a long time with a smile and asked if my tour is finished or not. I replied him that not till he gave me the letter, officially. He called his CA and told him to call all the ADC's, UNO's and NDC in his room. He asked me to sit in the chair directly opposite to him. He introduced me with them and asked them to question me as they wish to know from a tourist who has just completed the tour. Snacks were served for everyone. They asked me various types of questions. Someone asked my motto, some asked my idol and ideal, some asked my future goal, some asked about the experiences, etc. I enjoyed the time as well as they enjoyed. Later I left them for they had an emergency meeting. I met the CA and he told me that he will prepare my letter soon. He also told me that DC asked me to stay at the circuit house for few days if I was tired from a long tour. I said goodbye to see the things at Natore Town. I collect the phone number of Mukter Bhai (District Representative of Prothom Alo) and phoned him. He was busy in the court building (Adjacent to the DC office) for to practice law as it was his other profession. I met him and he welcomed me. He phoned the General Secretary of Bondhushova (A readers forum for positive approach of Prothom Alo). He told me a lots of things about Natore and gave me an idea about what I should see must. Then he left me when the GS of Bondhushova arrived. He told me about the activities of Bondhushova at this district. But instead of describing he was more interested to listen my experience and the requirements a man need to tour by bicycle. Later I went to the DC office and asked CA to permit my entrance (Mukter Bhai informed me that entry to this establishment is restricted unless previously informed from DC office) at "Uttara Ganabhaban". Then I cycled with that boy in the town. Later he went to some of his work leaving me at the area called "Fulbagan Kacha Bazar". I took his phone number and a pic of us. Then I cycle towards the "Uttara Ganabhaban". This was built at Pakistan Period and opened at 24th July of 1967 by Mr. Abdul Monem Khan who was the Governer of East Pakistan (Bangladesh). First this was named as "Dighapatia Governor's House". After the Bangladesh was independent from Pakistan at 1971 it was renamed as its current name. The Father of the nation "Sheikh Muzibur Rahman" renamed it at 9th February of 1972. Entering here I took enough pic and few videos. Watching it from outside I went to see the "Natore Rajbari" and it's adjacent area. Later I went to the factory of PRAN. The officer over there accept me gladly and showed the whole plant as per my wish. Later I took a pic with the most senior officers of it's administration. Then I came back to the town and phoned GS of BS. He came soon with another friend of him. I took a pic of "Madrasah Mour" and told them that I am thinking to go to Dhaka by tonights train and wish to come back within one day. But I need them to keep my cycle till I return. They agreed without any hesitation. Later we stayed together till I ride in the train. The Thursday night is when I left Natore Town and came back by bus at late night of Friday. The staffs of the circuit house let me enter and upon the permission of NDC (I had phoned him earlier) they open a room for me. At morning I woke up after 10 o'clock. I left the circuit house, enter at a restaurant to have brakfast and phoned him. Soon he arrived with another friend of him and my dear cycle. We took pics and after roaming for a good time I left the Natore Town for Dhaka. I had taken the idea from the staffs of the DC office about the easiest roads to reach Shirajganj. By following those direction I start cycling. On the way, I took lunch at a roadside restaurant after crossing the "Herbal Village" of Natore. As I did not saw any milestone I don't know at which time I enter at the Shirajganj District. |
