We entered in this district near within 11 o'clock and 12 o'clock. Dilip and Angela was far advanced and Rana was accompanying me as a novice cyclist. I perform my Jumma prayer with Rana at a mosque before entering the Sadar of Narsingdi. We met Angela and Dilip at the stadium of this district. After waiting for a few minute we met Jalil Bhai. Later we met DC of Narsingdi. We lap around the stadium twice in front of crowded people of Narsingdi who gathered there to watch the Semi-final of Districts Football League. We left stadium for Monohordi Dakbunglo. After cycling for an hour or so, I understood that it might be dark before we will reach the Dakbunglo. The distance was not much but I was the reason for my team's slow-cycling. I was worried about the security of Angela and I asked Dilip if he can cycle with Angela at a faster speed as we did this morning. I requested them to reach the Dakbunglo soonest and I will cycle with Rana no matter how much time it would take. I asked him to phone me after reaching there. So, Angela and Dilip increase their speed and soon fade away from our sight. I was speechless to watch that my team is suffering for me. The Sun set at West but still our destination is far away. Rana cycled with me all day long therefore he was unable to take lunch at afternoon. So, I asked Rana if he is hungry or not. He said that he was thinking the same then we stop at a roadside hotel to have something. Then we start cycling again and soon reached the Dakbunglo. I find Dilip and asked him why they did not phone us after reaching here. They told us that all of their phone credit was exhausted in conversation with Jalil Bhai. When they reached here the caretaker denied them to enter as the UNO did not instruct him about our accommodation. So Angela phone to Jalil Bhai and Jalil Bhai talked to the caretaker. The caretaker was not convinced till Jalil Bhai assured that the DC himself permitted us to stay here. By this time the caretaker open the room their phone's credit was finished. We enter at the room and Dilip went outside with Angela to have their supper. We took shower and prepare our bed on the floor as we decided to give the bed for Angela while sofa for Dilip. After they came back we went to sleep sooner as all of us were tired extremely. The next morning we woke up with the sounds of birds cheering. We did not understand the beauty of the location of this Dakbunglo at night. Everything was looking nice to us. We all came out and welcome this new day. Narayanganj had some modern touches but here at Monohardi we were totally surrounded with green and touches of village life except this Dakbunglo. We bring our cycles in the yard and looked at them for any repair needs. Soon we left the Dakbunglo and start for Kishoreganj. We stopped again as soon as we saw a restaurant to have our breakfast. After the breakfast we continued the cycling. Through some roads we just cycled and cycled. After a few hours we used the tecnique of yesterday. Angela and Dilip went ahead while Rana stays with me. About Mid-day I think we had crossed the border of Narshingdi and enter the next district. |
