Taking the pic I keep paddling for Mymensingha District. On the way, I took a lot of pictures of working farmers. They were working at their field by both side of the roads. At 2 o'clock I reached the Shambhuganj Bridge(Bangladesh China Freindship Bridge-2). I took a few pictures of the bridge too. I also took pictures of the river from the bridge. At 2:40 PM I reached the rail station of Mymensingha. I searched for the timetable and tickets price of Dhaka as I wished to go to Dhaka for collecting some money by myself. Later I went to the DC office but I could not meet the DC or ADC (General) as there was too much crowd. Some interview or appointment for government teachers was taking place there. Later I went to meet NDC and he agreed that he would help me. Soon he provide me the letter. So, I left the DC office and roam around the city. I went to the rail station and meet this stranger of last district. I met him on the reception desk of Chandan Guest House. On that night he told me that he loves touring but he is at Netrokona to see his sick relatives. I was wondering how come he came to visit his sick relatives but staying in the hotel. Then going to their house this morning and leaving them by today to visit Mymensingha District. Anyway, we chatted for some time and later I went to a hotel nearby the rail station. I book a room for LATE CHECK-IN at Friday and ask them to keep my cycle as I would go to Dhaka by train tonight. I showed them my papers to get proove my statement. Late at night I sat on the train to Dhaka At Friday night I left Dhaka by train and reach at the town by midnight. After eating something at the station I went to the hotel and start knocking. After few minutes the owner of the hotel opened the door. There was someone at my room and he ordered them to leave the room for me. By the time they were going to another room I bring out the charger for my camera's battery and put them on charge at the reception. After those boarder were transferred to other room, I went there and slept faster. At morning I woke up late and took shower first. The train jorney was not so enjoying. It was a low-speedy mail-train I ride and most of the times there was no light at compartment. I left the room at 9 o'clock and went towards the "Shambhuganj Bridge". My intension was to reach Sherpur through the via Phulpur and Nakla. After cycling till the bridge I recall that I have not collected the battery recharger with the batteries. I went back to the hotel and got them where I left. Again I start and ate light snacks at the first right turn after the bridge towards Phulpur. I saw a lots of bus carrying picnic parties going towards Phulpur. When I a local man if there is any picnic spot at Phulpur, he told me that most of them are going towards the "Gazni Picnic Spot" of Sherpur. The view beside the road not was not that much special to describe and I did not took any pic of them too. Instead I keep cycling at a modest speed. After crossing the Phulpur I took my lunch at a roadside hotel. The Green Chilies were too much hot here even for me. Very soon I saw the signboard of starting of Sherpur District and took a picture of my cycle there. |
