We entered Kushtia and got reception from some reporters at the border. Angela and Dilip missed this opportunity as they were faster and cycling far ahead than us. After a complimentary lunch we took photo of them and they went to their way. We crossed the river by boat where the Lalon Bridge was still under construction. Angela & Dilip phoned us that they are waiting at the DC office. They also informed that the DC is not in his district and we have to paddle fast otherwise the office will be closed. We reached there and met NDC. He gave us the paper and asked us to stay at circuit house. Dilip had relative in this town and they were also interested to accommodate us. So we refused to stay at circuit house. Later I decided with Rana to stay at Mirpur Upazila (15 kilometres away from the Kushtia town towards Meherpur) as we were cycling slowly. We reache Mirpur Upazila after 8 o'clock and got a great welcome by UNO of Mirpur Mr. Azam. We went to our bunglow at 12 o'clock after attending an instant musical show only for us. At morning we went to the residence of Mr. Azam, took photo with him and start for Meherpur. We took our breakfast while phoned Angela & Dilip to catch us.Soon the team re-united and start paddling at full speed.
