We reached at Khulna by noon and sit in a restaurant for a light snacks while waiting for Angela and Dilip. Soon we went to the residence of DC directly as it was a weekly holiday. There we met a DC who was also a tourist in his school life. He shared his experience with us, gave some guideline to maintain and listened about our tour. While his staffs were preparing the paper he phoned to the NDC of Bagerhat and asked him to manage accommodations for us. Before leaving his house he gave 500 taka from his account and wished us a succesful tour. We went to restaurant and took our lunch then we start asking people about the direction to Bagerhat. While going to that direction we faced Shipyard on our way. When we wanted to take photo at main gate the guards discouraged us by saying that it was a restricted area and we were unable to take pictures. So when we were paddling by the road of Backside of Shipyard I took a picture of that damaged road with Rana in my focus. Soon we reached at the bottom of the Rupsha Bridge. There was lots of restaurants and shops at the bottom of the bridge. Also there was lots of tourist from nearby districts to visit the bridge. We sit in a shop took some snacks and start climbing for the bridge. At top we wait a bit and took few photo. Then we just paddle towards Bagerhat without haulting anymore at road. We saw lots of fish processing plants on road. |
