We don't know when we crossed the boundary of Jessore. But at mid-day we arrived at Jessore town. It was a busy town coamparing to last few town we visit. We were asking directions for the house of DC and paddling for it. It was Friday and we crossed a seminar where a few political leader and workers were changing their current party. We reached to the residence of DC but the guard at the gate did not let us proceed further. He was helpful, and asking to every person (Whoever was going inside for any duty) to send our news to the DC so that he can let us enter. But no one was bringing back any news and he has no telephone or any other no to communicate with the office inside, so helplessly he was bound to make us stay on the gate. He also informed that the DC might be busy because a minister is staying in Jessore town on that day. So, after waiting for a long time we went to the house of NDC at some other place of Jessore Town. When we went to his house he left for Jumma's prayer and I asked my team to have their lunch while went to say my prayer with a servant of his house. After finishing the prayer I wait for him with his servant beside his car. When he came nearer his servant introduced him with me. I explained our needs and he just signed the paper on behalf of DC office. He asked me to collect the seal of him from his office which was very close to the mosque. When I went there his staffs identified his signature and ggave the seal on the paper. Then I phoned my team and got their location. They were still sitting at a restaurant where they had their lunch. I took my lunch after meeting them. Soon I phoned one of known brother Kamal Bhai. He asked me to drop by at his residence which was in the Jessore Upashahar. So, we went their and they welcomed us gladly. They asked if we need accommodation facility in jessore, Satkhira or Khulna as they have lots of relatives and known persons in these districts. We gladly took a few address from them with phone numbers. Soon we said goodbye to them and head for Satkhira. |
