I enter to the Gaibandha District through Kamardaha of Gobindaganj Upazila. I took a photo of mine at the beginning point of district boundary and keep cycling. I reached the center of the Upazila in less than 50 minutes. After 10 minutes or so I took a right turn towards Rakhalburuz for of the upazila for a shortcut. Within half an hour I got some trouble at the rear wheel of my cycle and it needed some instant repairment. I stopped at a technicians shop. He took a lot of time but fixed the problem without replacing a new parts like a expert man. Then I start again for the road and soon came to a river. Two boats were tied together and it was carrying other vehicles such as Honda, Bicycle, Rickshaw, etc. It was also carrying human too. Upon reaching the other side of the river I enter at a restaurant for lunch. Then I cross some under-construction road with worst condition through Nakai to Manoharpur. On the way, I saw a car looked like the car of DC at Manoharpur. When I asked a police he assured me that the DC came here for some work and that police was the bodyguard of DC. He also told me that DC will go to his office from here. So, ride on my bike.Through Ramchandrapur & Boali I reached at Gaibandha Sadar at evening. Before reaching the Gaibandha Sadar I got a phone from my relatives at Dhaka. They told me that my mom is seriously ill and they are considering to take her to hospital. I told them to phone me again after 2/3 hours so that I can give them some news too. I was very worried about her. Reaching at DC office I heard that the DC has not arrived till then. I went to roam around the town to find a place for my cycle. I was thinking to go back to Dhaka to see her. I went to the rail station. I went there to see if the price and time for Dhaka-going trains match with me. On the way I also got the informations about the buses for Dhaka. When I returned, I knew that the DC just left the office for his residence. I went to his house by asking people the location of it. I met a tribal policeman guarding at the gate of his house. I introduced myself and send my papers through them to the DC. After waiting for a long time one person came back with my papers and said that the DC congratulate me for my cycling around the country but he will not sign any paper for me. I was amazed to hear this but I had nothing to do at that very moment. I thought that the staffs at his residence did not present the papers to him. So, I came back and seek for the cycle garages. At the opposite of Cinema Hall I find one named "Sumon Cycle Garage". I talked about the charges (Day-basis) as I might need to keep it for a longer time. Then I went to roam around the town as the train to Dhaka is very late at night. At 8 o'clock I came to that garage and gave them my cycle. Then I went to the rail station and met the Station Master. I asked him to help me as there was no ticket available on the train. He assured me that if there will be no ticket he will let me ride on the cart of police. So, late at night I ride on the train and gone to Dhaka.

I came back to Polashbari of Gaibandha after 00 days at a morning of Sunday. I get off from the bus and said my prayers of Fazre at a mosque nearby. Then I ride at a local bus of BRTC going towards the main town of Gaibandha overloaded with passengers. Getting off from the bus at town I took my breakfast and shave from a saloon before 8 o'clock. Then I went to the cycle garage to get my cycle. Then I start looking for the local scientist Mr. Azad. To find him I visit a local Government College and asked for any direction to find him. Showing a corner of the road they told me to ask anyone at there and they will be able to guide me. So, when I went there and asked a person about this scientist a young boy came and asked me why I am looking for him. After introducing myself and telling him the reason why I am looking for him, he took me to the house of Mr. Azad. He introduced himself as the eldest son of Mr, Azad. His name was Mohammad Ahsan Habib Chowdhury, Uttam. Then he took me to the office of their organisation SALT (Social Advancement by Local Technology). This office had two rooms one of which was locked. But he opened the window of that room to show me somehow about their activities. Actually the person who had the key of that room was not nearby at that time. He describe everything of them. But the scientist Mr. Azad who's full name was Omar Faruk Chowdhury was at Dhaka at that moment. They gave me a card of him. Then Uttam and I went to a restaurant of DC road with one of his friend Sarwar. We took tea and some snacks. Later Utaam told me that Mr. Azad often comes to this place as it is very favourite place of him to pass times. But the most interesting thing is whenever he comes here he sits at the place where I was sitting then. He never sits to some other place. So, I took a picture of that place. Then I left them for DC office. There I met NDC Mohammad Mozammel Haque. After listening to everything he appritiate my deed and made a draft for DC to sign. Then the peon informed him that the DC went to Shaghata and will be back after a little late. He aske dme to wait till then. So, I wait there as he assured me that he will present my letter to DC before any other matters. Later at 12:45 PM I took his permission to go out of DC office. There I looked for the District Representative of Prothom Alo "Tota Bhai". First I went to a shop called "Potrika Bitan" where I supposed to get him but he was not there. Then to another shop called "Jalshiri". He asked me to help him by writing a little note about my tour as he was too much busy with lots of other works. So, I wrote that and gave it to him. Then I gave him a picture of mine at his PC. After that I went to the DC office. The DC was not there so I went to perform my Johor Prayer and came back again to the room of NDC. The DC arrived at 3:30 PM and NDC went to his room at once with the letter. But soon he came back and told me that the DC will not sign in that letter. The DC said to NDC that he is not bound to sign in that paper because other DC gave their sign. What else I or NDC can say after this type of dialogue. Every other staffs of the DC were amazed to listen this subject. Some of them were even laughing at DC for this strange behaviour. So, NDC told me that he will sign with his name and so he asked to make another draft on his name. He signed to that paper as soon as it was prepared. But then I understood that it is not possible for me to reach even Chilmari on that day before Sunset. As there was no suitable accommodation facility on the road I can get before Chilmary. So, I asked NDC if he can arrange some sort of accommodation for that night. He phoned to the LGED office and asked them to arrange a room for me tonight. He wished me luck and ask me to be there. Before I was leaving the DC office a bunch of people stopped me because of my appearance. The asked me who I was and I told them everything. They were very happy to hear about me and then I went to the rest house of LGED-Gaibandha. There I met the caretaker who showed me my room. I took some necessary things and left went to roam the town by cycle. I went to the park of the town and took some photo. Very soon the charge of the battery was finished and I went to the office of Tota Bhai. I saw him sending my news to various newspaper from his fax. Actually he was operating a fax which was used by all the district representatives of National Daily's. Then I enter the moque adjacent to DC office for Asor and Magrib Prayer. After finishing the prayer I came back to the rest house and took a little rest. Again I went outside to search Mr. Uttam. He was not there but I met his younger brother. This boy told me where I can get Mr. Uttam and went there. But he was not even there too. So, I roamed here and there. Then I drop again to the shop of Tota Bhai. Though he was not there but there was another staff of him Mr. Abdul Hai. He asked me to pass some times there and we chatted for two hours. Leaving that shop I went to a restaurant for supper and came back to the rest house before 10 o'clock. The night-guard was there and I had to wait for some time. Later the guard Mofizol came and open the room's door. Entering the room I find myself very tired and I start to record diary before sleep.

At morning I said my prayer after bath and prepare myself for cycling. Later I left the rest house before 7 o'clock by taking a pic. Then I find that there was no air in my wheels. So, I start pulling it. Crossing the railgate I reached at Jalshiri Media. There I fix the cycle. finished breakfast, looked at some papers and said goodbye to Abdul Hai after taking a pic with him. I left that place at 8:15 AM. I cycle towards the next district. On the way, a cyclist (Khondoker Tito) gave me company for nearly as 90 minutes or so. He was a employee of local NGO GUK (Gaibandha Unnayan Kendro). We reached "Panchpir Bazar" together and then taking a picture we detached. Then i reached Haripur Kheyaghat by asking people about the direction of the roads. This Kheyaghat was the ending border of the Gaibandha District.
