After 10 o'clock we reached the Faridpur town. We booked a room at a hotel in the town for Angela. Then we went to the residence of DC and his CA was leaving the residence then. We describe him our purpose, told him the problem we faced at Magura, explained the reason to be so late. He checked our papers and talked with district NDC by phone. Then he showed us the direction for the circuit house and told us to take rest there. We entered at the circuit house, introduced us and got a room as NDC phoned the caretaker of circuit house about us. We left our luggages there and went out to have supper. Angela phoned us to assure that she is going for bed and she has finished her supper. We came back from "Khondoker Restaurant" and went to bed as soon as we took care of our cycles. At morning we all met the DC office to get the paper earliest. We met CA of DC and when he saw us all I told my team to have their breakfast. They arrived soon after having breakfast but we had to wait more as the DC had a visit his district Jail. After coming back from Jail he gave us his appointment at first then to others. Without wasting a single moment he ordered his staff to prepare the paper and signed in it. We said goodbye and his CA gave us some tips about having a short cut for our next district Gopalganj. We ride on our cycles passed by the Faridpur Medical College and ran for Gopalganj. Somewhere at road I stopped to have some food as I was still starving. When I came back I saw a huge crowd around Angela, Dilip & Rana. Angela took a pic of Dilip & Rana with the crowd. After reaching Bhanga we took lunch and entered a side road for our short cut. After an hour or so we realized that it was not a short cut at all. It was a long road mostly damaged and somewhere full with mud. After a long long time of hassle and trouble of a muddy road we saw light. We reached to a highway which was built to be a part of Asian Highway. It was an excellent road for cycling. The roadside view was also great but Angela was still angry upon me for following the instruction of CA. Soon we enter the boundary of Gopalganj. |
