I took a picture just before the signboard of the starting point of Comilla Highway Department and after one hour I reached at the highway restaurant "VITA-WORLD" (This was a restaurant of Bangladesh-Japan joint venture program). I took a picture over here and keep cycling. I stopped cycling at a town named ---------- for lunch at 2 o'clock. After the lunch when I sat ar cycle, I heard someone is calling me by my name. I looked and find that Shiblee (I know him from Taltola of DHAKA) was there. I asked him what he is doing here and knew that this was his hometown. He asked me to stop there and invite me for lunch. When he knew that I have finished my lunch right now he bought some juices and chocolates for me. We talked for a while and left him before 3 o'clock for Comilla. After reaching the bypass of Comilla Town I took the right-side road which was very narrow than the highway of left-side. Only a few cars and vans were using the road. I went straight to the Circuit House but got none over there. I went to the DC office but everyone left the office by that time. I went to the residence of DC but his staffs told me that he is on rest. They also told me that before 9 o'clock I will not be able to meet him. So, I went to the town to pass this extra time. I reached a pool club at the town and met a young man named Pritom. I played with him and he was very glad to meet me when he knew about me. He invite me to visit his house and I told him that I would do that tomorrow. Then he took me to one of his favourite place at Comilla Town, "DHARMA SHAGOR". We took a photo of us here. Then Left him to have my dinner After having an early dinner I paid the bill at a restaurant. While paying I understood that somehow I lost some money. I checked all the pockets of my luggage and confirmed about it. I went back to the residence of DC. The NDC was not there and DC was being late to some downstair as he had no urgent job. Later his staffs told me that he will not come down tonight. I went to the officers club of the district to meet NDC. I wait there for nearly an hour but did not get him. Later a magistrate who watched me waiting for an hour came to talk to me. He asked me how can he come to my help. I describe him everything but at last I asked him to manage a place for my cycle. I told him that I would go to DHAKA by bus to bring some money. For this reason I just want to get a safe place to left my cycle. His name was Istiaque and he phoned to the staffs of circuit house about my cycle. He also told me that he will inform the NDC about. me. Thanking him I went to the circuit house and gave my cycle to it's staffs. I took a rickshaw to reach the DHAKA COMILLA HIGHWAY. Waiting for a long time I was able to ride in a private car for some money. I came back to Comilla Again at afternoon. I went to the circuit house and receive my cycle. Then at evening I went to the residence of DC and meet the NDC over there. He heard about me from Magistrate Istiaque. I wait for him for a long time to get the letter of DC through him. Later, he gave me the letter. He also phoned the circuit house staffs to prepare a room for me. I went to the circuit house, left my luggage and phone Pritom to meet me. He came soon and ask me to join at the AGM night of Comilla Club with him. All the members of their family will join at the program. We roam at the town, played pool for sometime and went to Comilla Club. He introduced me with all his brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. We gossip and enjoy the program together. After dinner we left the club and roam at the town. He showed me his house and later we walked by the Victoria College of Comilla. Later I went to the circuit house. I find that in the other bed at my room someone else was accommodated. I went to sleep fast after leaving my camera's battery on charge. I woke up fast at morning and left my room soonest. I took my luggage on the cycle and paddle around the town. I took a few pictures by my own and went the house of Pritom. He took few minutes to be ready and later showed me a lot of his town. He showed me the various part of "Victoria College", "Residence of Sachin Dev Barman", Shops of famous "Khadi Wear" and more. Later we went to one of his friends shop of "Ceramic & Tiles". he introduced me with all and we took photo together. Before leaving the Comilla for Brahmanbaria we went to the Dharmashagor again. I took a lot photo here. Then he took me to a point of his town from where the road towards next district will start. I had taken a rare road to reach the next district. I choose it after talking to the room mate of mine last night at circuit house. From this point we left each other and I start cycling again. Soon I reach the backside of the town where "River Gomati" flows. To cross the bridge on Gomati River I ride on a bailey bridge. I asked a cyclist to help me for a photo. He took my photo and I took his. Then I cycle towards my next district by Burichang Upazila. After 2 o'clock I left this Upazila and enter at Brahmanpara Upazila. I saw the rails containing containers going to India by Shashidal Railstation. I took a lot of pic on the way. I stopped at a place called Rajapur or nearby this place to say hi to a person. The relatives of this person asked me to do so when I stayed at the rest house BARI (Ramgarh of Bandarban). Thus I reach at the Boundary of Kasba Upazila (At Brahmanbaria District) before Sunset. |
