Sitting under the roof of the boat we mixed all the MURI, CHANACHUR, Salt, Oil, Onion, Chili and start eating as we were a bit hungry. The boatman told us that it will be journey more than an hour. So after eating Angela, Dilip and Rana lay down under the roof of boat. I went outside to view the natural scenery and shoot some photos. Some boats and launches passed by our boat. We arrived at the ghat around one hour or so. We start cycling for the DC office to catch DC/NDC at office. The road was very good but when we reached there everybody had left their office. No one was able to tell us where they have gone or even if they went to their residence. So we took help from local people to locate the circuit house. We met Mr. Delowar at the circuit House who was not only the in-charge of the staffs of that circuit house but also one of the most senior among all the staffs of circuit house. Beside these he was also the President of the "“Staff Welfare Association” of them. So, when he saw the letterhead pad of their own association signed by the General Secretary he greet us his best. He talked to the NDC about us and assured our identity. He also told us the location of the residence of NDC. After some rests at our room we left circuit house Angela, Dilip and Rana went together to roam while I went to have some air in my tube nearby. After getting the air I ride on my bike and less than a minute I found my tube was out of air again. Well, it was a hidden leak but I found no technician at nearby fixing shop. So I left my cycle at their shop and asked him to fix it within next two hour or as soon as the technician arrives. Then I went to the residence of NDC and met him. He was very nice and young man. He was being informed everything about us previously and gave me the paper without the seal. He asked me to get the seal from DC office, next morning. He wished good luck for our tour. I went to that fixing shop and saw the technician was doing something else. I asked him to fix my tube first and after that I came back to the circuit house. I met my partners but shocked to know that Angela is having a high fever. They also went to a doctor and brought a lot of medicine with them. I went downstairs and bring some plastic sheet from Delowar Bhai as we need to wash Angela’s head to keep temperature lower. After doing so for an hour she was feeling a bit comfort and we stopped washing her head. Rest of the night we were too worried about her but at morning she said she is mentally 100% ready to cycle. I told them that I am going to DC office to get the seal and from DC office I will go to the launch ghat directly. Then I took a photo with help of Rana. I went start cycling and reached at DC office before anyone else arrived. After waiting for some times few staffs were coming and I entered at Nezarat Division as soon as the cleaners opened those rooms to clean. I met one of their staffs and explained my motto. I also asked him to confirm by telephoning to circuit house. But he believed me and gave the seal at my paper. I start riding for the launch ghat. On my way I stopped at circuit house but heard that my team has left the circuit house for the launch ghat. Soon the rain starts and I stopped for the raincoat. I wear it and arrived at launch ghat but did not find anyone of them. I tried to reach them by mobile but the network was not working. After waiting for more than an hour the team arrived and asked me why I did not noticed when they called me on the way. They had stopped when the rain starts and took shelter under a shade. When I was running fast at rain covering myself by raincoat, I passed them and they called me. But I did not hear their voice. So, I asked them to wait a bit so that I can have my breakfast as I did not eat anything since I arrived at Bhola. They gave me time, I finished breakfast and soon the launch arrived. We hopped on the launch and the launch start for Barishal. It was a nice journey by launch. We ate lots of junk food on the launch and enjoyed natural scenery of riverside. |
