It was a very dark and bad-conditioned road after we enter at Barishal. The only source of light was headlights of vehicles from our front and back. Obviously, Rana was carrying the torch-light and using it as less as possible. All on a sudden Rana stopped his cycle with a loud shout to break my cycle. I break it and went clost to him. He said that his paddle or wheel is not working for some reason. We checked both wheel and find that there is plenty of wet straw strangled in back wheel, chain and gear of his cycle. It was few minutes back we cycle over some straws. Somebody must have placed them on the road to dry. After cleaning Rana’s cycle I checked mine and find a few in my cycle also. We start going again and received the phone of Dilip. He told me that they are trying their best to get the NDC’s contact number but no one is helping them at all. I told Dilip to forget everything and roam in Barishal town, eating something or to do anything to relax their mind. Nearly at 10 o’clock we met together at a place called “Bibir Pukur”. It was a nice pond in a crowded place of their main town. There were roads at three side of this pond it was a kind of meeting point. We eat Chotpoti and went to the circuit house. The staffs were not ready to help us at first even to give the phone number of NDC but then I showed them the letter of their “Staff Welfare Association”. Now not only they gave me the number but also they asked me to use their phone. They also explained me the reason why they did not helped Dilip and why all the rooms are occupied. I talked to NDC and after a long conversation he told me to contact at the BIWTA rest house (beside stadium) where a room might be available. He also told me to use him as reference to the Executive Engineer who is in-charge of that rest house. We ran towards that rest-house and meet the caretaker around 11 o’clock. The caretaker listen everything and asked us to stay in that only available room. We left our luggage and went out for the supper. The Executive Engineer was sleeping so the caretaker told us to come fast after supper. He also forbid us to make noises. We ate at a roadside hotel with lots of item. We were too hungry. After returning from the restaurant we started to take bath one-by-one. It was around 12 o’clock but our caretaker uncle knock the door at that time to know if we need anything or not. We asked for a broom to clean the room. After cleaning the room Dilip used the couch, Angela used the bed and I shared the floor with Rana. Next morning, we had the intention to leave the bed late but suddenly around Eight-Thirty there was knocks at the door. I opened it and the caretaker Uncle told us that the Executive Engineer wants to meet us before leaving for office. I asked him to give us some time to get ready. We washed faces and came out of the room to meet him. He was a nice guy and he asked us if he can do something for us. We had some conversation about ourselves, tour and the peoples we met on road. Then he went to his office saying goodbye and we enter in the room to prepare us finally to start a new day.

Before leaving the facility we took photo with the caretaker Uncle and someone else of that complex. Then we went to the DC office and met NDC. He asked us if we had any problem about the accommodation for last night or not. He told us that the DC has not arrived yet and we have to wait at ground floor. It was a red old-fashioned building. I asked my partners to have their breakfast while I would wait for them and DC. After waiting for a long they came back and I went upstairs. NDC managed the paper for us somehow. And I get down for my breakfast. I took my breakfast at a restaurant opposite to the Launch Terminal. Then we start cycling and very soon we had to cross a ferry. After the ferry a long ride towards the last point of the boundary of Barishal. We stopped only once to drink some coconut water. When we reached at that ferry ghat we regret drinking coconut water as we missed the ferry for some seconds or may be for a minute. The next ferry towards Bhola was 3/4 hours away from then. We took some rest and then start searching for other ways to go to Bhola as we had no intention to return to Barishal. We hired a troller boat for 800 taka. We buy some MURI, CHANACHUR, Salt, Mustard Oil, Chopped Onion and Chili before riding the boat.
