At 1:45 PM our boat reached the ghat of Sariakandi. I took my lunch to a restaurant on the ghat as soon as I land on that ghat. Then I went upwords towards the highway and sat there. I chat with a salesman of herbal Medicine and roots sitting on the road. Then I start cycling towards the town which was 22.5 KM away from that ghat. I phone to Arefin Bhai that I have reached the Sariakandi and he told me that he would be expecting a phonecall from me at 6:30 PM. I headed straight towards the DC office. After some regular checking the security let me enter there. I left my cycle at the garage of the office and went to DC's room. But he was busy with some other people and therefore I was able to meet him at 5:30 PM. So, all this time (Nearly 80/90 minutes) I was waiting in front of his room. I was having a nice chat with various staffs of DC. Well, from there I saw a nice view where the Kortoa River was flowing. I took some photo at that place. The DC asked me to reach his Bunglow where he will give me the paper over there. Then I went to the CA of DC Mr. Mustak Hossain. He phone to the residence of DC and ask them to assist me when I will be there. He gave me guidance about the road towards DC's residence and I went there. Over there, the staffs of his residence did help me accordingly and I got the paper very soon from DC. He went to the Tennis Court adjacent to his house and I went to Press Club first. There I looked for the representative of Prothom Alo. He was not there but I got his phone number and the address of his office. I also talked to some other reporters present there. Then I went to the office of Mr. Milon, District Representative of Prothom Alo. After chatting with him I came down from his office and met a boy named Sumon at the Downstair. He was an employee at a library over there and got very excited to talk to me. Then leaving him I phoned to Arefin Bhai at 9:15 PM. He told me that he will reach me within half an hour and asked me to wait around the "Grand Akbaria Hotel" area. He reached there as per his commitment and phoned to his fiance that he got me. Then buying a few things from the hotel he guided (By his motor-cycle) me to his house. Reaching at his house I fresh myself by taking a bath and start talking to him. By this time the food was ready. After eating the supper he present the "Curd of Bagura". He was a great host and did his best to serve me in every way. Later he went to his room and I start recording the diary.

At morning I woke up a little late than usual. I had a very nice sleep last night. I felt like I was in my own house. After I open the door I find that Arefin Bhai woke up before me and instructing someone about fixing breakfast. Soon we took breakfast and both of us left the house. I took a pic of him outside. Then he went to his office and I went to "Satmatha Mour". I took some pic and visit the "Mohammad Ali Palace Museum". I took enough pictures here and visit a cyber cafe to download some picture in my pendrive. Later I went to meet Sumon as I promised and then start cycling for next destination. Leaving him I reached the "Behula Lakhindorer Bashorghar" within 70 minutes by following the signs on the highway. To reach there I had to enter left side from highway. Taking photos/videos and walking around that place I return to the highway and soon reach the Mahasthangarh. I spend a lot of time over here and I also visit the Museum of this place. I cycled around all the places and took lots of pics. I understood that there was some digging on the site and I had never saw any archaeologist working in field. So, I thought I would pass the night here as they would come at the site early morning for few hours. I took a room at "The Akash Boarding" (As far I can remember that was the name of that boarding beside highway). Taking room I went to walk around the area to get some more info about this place. I also met few people who gave me information about this place willingly. One of them (He was staying here for some official job), who was also a boarder of that boarding accompany me to describe the area. I visited the shrine of "Shah Sultan Balkhi" too. Later we came to the boarding and after eating I slept soon.

I woke up earlier and finishing breakfast I went to the site with that boarder. We saw that archaeologists from Bangladesh, Italy and France were working there with some local labours. I took their photo/video and talk to them. I was not satisfied by the systems they were working. Soon all of them sat for snacks and I left that area. I said goodbye to that man and paddled for Gaibandha. On the way, one local cyclist asked me to stop to have a little chat, when I told him I was touring. Then I stopped at various places to take photo and after two hours from Mahasthangarh I reached the boundary of Bagura district.
